A TikTok creator documents a complete stay at The Avery Hotel, from Tiner’s Alley nightcaps to Sunday brunch at the Brasserie.

BOISE, ID—The Avery Hotel has occupied a corner of downtown Boise since 1910, and a recent TikTok from @mayalabellaclark makes a case that it might be the city’s most complete way to not-quite-leave town. According to @mayalabellaclark, the itinerary runs the full loop: a suite check-in, time in the library, pre-dinner drinks and a late nightcap at Tiner’s Alley, dinner at the Brasserie with Chef Cal Elliott—a James Beard Award semifinalist in 2026—then a slow Sunday morning with a bath, coffee on the balcony, and brunch to close it out.

For Boiseans who’ve walked past the building a hundred times without ever booking a room, the video is a useful reminder that a staycation at The Avery and a trip somewhere else can produce roughly the same feeling. The Brasserie and Tiner’s Alley are both open to non-guests, which means the full experience is technically available in pieces—but apparently the suite makes it.
