Food Land Market at 710 N. Orchard Street blends Mediterranean grocery, house-made cheeses, fresh-baked desserts, and Turkish coffee under one roof—and it was voted Boise’s Best Ethnic Market in 2023.

BOISE, ID—Tucked into a strip on North Orchard Street, Food Land Market has apparently been serving falafel wraps, house-made cheeses, and baklava to those who already know, while the rest of Boise drives past.

According to @mckenzieinmotion, the shop functions as a Mediterranean grocery, a grab-and-go lunch spot, and a dessert and coffee counter simultaneously. She singles out the Arabic wrap, the specialty imported ingredients, and the Turkish coffee as must-tries—with the baklava positioned as the obvious pairing for that last one.

The market holds a 2023 Best Ethnic Market in Boise title, and @mckenzieinmotion notes that owner Hana and her team are a big part of what makes the visit worth lingering over. Food Land Market is located at 710 N. Orchard Street and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

For a spot that’s been voted the city’s best in its category, it has somehow maintained the energy of a genuine neighborhood find—which is either a marketing mystery or proof that good baklava sells itself.
